I Always – Poem #2

I always ask myself “what if he comes back into my life”

Would I easily let him in or I would put up a fight

Always wondering and my answer was always yes

Never thought, but I was settling for less

I didn’t think that he would just pop up randomly

At the end of the day I set myself free

I always thought that I would give him another chance

But I realize between us, theres’s no more romance
