English 121 – Poem #1

This class is nothing like English 101

I know its gonna be a lot of work, but a whole lot of fun

I’m mentally prepared, but not so physically

This class is too early, I wish it starts at 3

Its gonna be a lot of reading which I never liked

All this reading will take up most of my nights

I’m not complaing because I’m ready for this class

Because at the end of the semester, I’m going to pass
